Pediatric Nurses efforts on the care of children, infants and adolescents. A Pediatric Nurse  is a registered Nurse must be certified by the state after having completed a minimum of an associate's degree in Nursing and passing a national licensing exam. Nursing ethics is a branch of applied ethics that concerns itself with activities in the field of nursing. Nurses are advocates for patients and must find a balance while delivering patient care. There are four main principles of ethics: autonomy, beneficence, justice, and non-maleficence. Each patient has the right to make their own decisions based on their own beliefs and values.

 


Adult health nurses are basically nurses who provide health care services to a specific population, typically young adults, adults, and older adults (the elderly). Adult health nurses may also offer medical services to the family members of individuals who fall within the categories. The primary objectives of the adult health nurse are to play a role in, and to help facilitate, the promotion, maintenance, supervision, and restoration of health. To accomplish these goals, the adult health nurse will often identify health risks that can precipitate disease. In many cases, adult health nurses will operate as leaders, advocates, educators, and consultants within the facilities and communities where they work.



 



Cancer Nursing is the specialists who take care of the patients with cancer and tumours. They inspect and monitor the conditions of the patients. They prescribe medicines and they take care of chemotherapy and other treatments. They will be graduated in cancer nursing care and they are well trained nursing professionals in cancer care. This complexity of delivering care requires practitioners who can respond with an equivalent complex skill set, underpinned by an advanced knowledge base as well as the core caring skills that are inherently nursing.



 



Gastroenterology Nurses are also known as endoscopy nurses. They diagnose and treat patients experiencing problems with their digestive system and gastrointestinal tract. Many genetics nurses work in a particular sub-specialty of medicine where genetics play an important role, such as obstetrics and reproduction, oncology, mental health and pediatrics.



Gerontological Nursing provides an opportunity to explore the challenges of aging through the lens of transitions. They examine how aging adults respond to transitions such as health challenges, changes in living environments, existential issues, family issues, and dying and death.  While physical health issues are addressed, the major emphasis lies in how older adults understand and process transitions in older years and how nurses can facilitate the process for their patients or clients and family members.  We also examine the challenges faced by emerging sub-populations of aging adults, such as those with developmental disabilities, the incarcerated, the homeless, as well as those with HIV/AIDS.
